ILC-Tech:

ILC-Tech is ILC Tasmania's programme of assistive technology for environmental control, communication and computer access. This is available to people living in the North and North West of Tasmania.

A speech pathologist and occupational therapist provide the following services:

  • Information and advice on assistive technology for environmental control, communication and computer access

  • A library of equipment and software
  • Education sessions
  • Regular visits throughout the North and North West of Tasmania.

Second-hand Register:

The second-hand register contains items of equipment offered for sale by members of the public. It may include personal care items, wheelchairs (manual and powered), scooters, chairs, walking aids, ramps, hoists, transport equipment and beds. The ILC does not sell, view or handle the products on the second-hand register.

Publications:

The Contact is a quarterly resource manual that features information and advice about specific types of equipment. A yearly subscription is available or single issues.
