General Details
- Extra product information
The SMOKE DETECTOR (alarm) uses a long life lithium battery (should last approximately ten years) and functions as a standard alarm (with warning sound) and transmitter to activate the bedside monitor.
The SMOKE ALARM MONITOR is mains powered but has built in rechargeable battery backup in case of power failure. When the smoke alarm is triggered it receives a radio signal (from a range of up to 40 metres, depending on position of monitor and aerial). The radio signal triggers a bright strobe flashing light that will continue for 30 minutes.
There are two output connectors to which may be attached an optional UNDER PILLOW VIBRATING PAD and/or another device such as a remote flashing light or electronic sounder.
- Options
UNDER PILLOW VIBRATING PAD
A 12V pad which plugs into the back of the smoke alarm monitor. The pad is placed inside a pillow slip, underneath the pillow or underneath the bottom bed sheet. When the smoke alarm monitor is activated the pad vibrates.MANTES
