The Button Mate can attach two or four hole buttons to a shirt without the need to sew. It is a plastic device with a circular grip and projection end with two steel needles protruding from the end. A black protective cover is provided to cover the points. The kit is supplied with sixty plastic devices for attaching and fifteen cream buttons.
General Details
- Method of Use
1. Pull back the slider to the rear side.
2. Holding the Button mate in your palm, feed the ends of the attacher clip
into slots.
3. Place the attacher clips two ends either side of the slots.
4. Push the attacher clip in firmly until you hear 'lock' into the needle
sockets.
5.To ensure attacher knot is fully seated into the needle of attacher clips
into position or pull ends from the bottom.
6. Place the button into the needles you are now ready to attach.
7. Without pushing the slider, push the needles as far into the fabric as
possible.
8.Use the button thimble provided to press the fabric tightly up to the
needle ends.
9. Use thumbs to push the slider forward slowly to squeeze the attacher
all the way, the button will fix to fabric.- Maintenance
Refer to the supplier and manufacturer manual for maintenance instructions and safety warnings. With special reference to keeping the buttons and plastic attaches away from children. The sharp ends of the needle should be covered with the protective cover when not in use.
