Mobile electric stair climber on chain tracks. It is battery operated and dismantles. Designed to carry a wheelchair and occupant. Needs the assistance of another person to operate. The manufacturer states that the T09 Roby can be used with various types of new wheelchairs. The manufacturer also states that it can be used with wheelchairs that fold, have rigid back rests or have 500/600 mm diameter rear wheels. Options available

Materials: Aluminium casing. Aluminium steering bar. Rubber tracks (non marking).

Stair types: not suitable for curved stairways. Minimum stair width is 820mm. Maximum climbing gradient is 35 degrees. A stair slope indicator is built into the steering bar of the stair climber. Minimum depth of landing is 970 mm (with wheelchair and occupant onboard).
Power source: 2 x 12V-12Ah batteries in series. Built in battery charger.
Motor: Geared motor is self braking and non-reversing. 24V-500w brushless motor.
Drive controls: constant pressure up/down button on steering bar. Up/down button also on machine body to assist in transferring the unit into a car. Control panel at height of steering bar with battery charge indicator, emergency stop button and ignition key.
Securing options: wheelchair is fastened to stair climber using hooks that are adjustable in height and width.
Safety: Safety pedal; emergency stop button on control panel; Irreversible reduction gearbox; delayed controls; steering-bar fitted with mechanical clamping system on both side (motion consent only when the mechanical clamping is properly fitted); safety belt on request; safety fastening on wheelchairs, preventing accidental opening.
Transporting: The stair climber can be dismantled into 2 parts. Can be transported in the boot of a standard car.- Options
The stair climber can be equipped with several options for wheelchairs with larger rear wheels or for special wheelchairs and a platform for baby carriages and/or power wheelchairs.
