The Partner range of electronic communication devices have digitised (human recorded) speech output. There are three models - the Partner Plus, Partner Plus Stepper and the Partner Four. The messages can be accessed directly or through the use of multiple switches. There is a total of 60 seconds recording time available on each device. The Partner Plus and Plus Stepper devices can be connected to create a multi-message communicator.

Output
Digitised (human recorded) speech output. Models available with Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with/without vibration feedback (Partner 4).

Visual display
Partner Plus and Plus Stepper have 8.9 cm square message cell; the Partner Four has smaller message cells.
LEDs with/without vibration feedback are available on the Partner Four model to enhance message feedback.
External switch hook up jacks are available for activating electronic devices and appliances.

Accessing Options
Direct access (light touch membrane cells) or multiple switch input jacks can be used to access individual messages.

Memory
60 seconds of speech available on all models. On the Partner Four there is 15 seconds of speech per message.

Symbol Systems
Photos and/or pictographs (such as those used in Boardmaker) can be used on the Partner devices.

Batteries and Charging
4 AA alkaline batteries required.

Colour/materials
Devices made of black impact resistant plastic that are shatterproof. The devices are lightweight and portable.

Sound quality of the device does not distort at high volume making it suitable to use outdoors and in areas with background.
