The Elite back provides a gently curved backrest, with a contour depth of 30mm.

MATERIALS
The MaTRx-PB Elite back has a lightweight aluminium shell. Foam covers the back shell and wraps around the edges, to provide comfort and protection. There is a removable sacral / lumbar support.

COVER
Moisture resistant, breathable, fabric cover, which can be unzipped to remove.

INSTALLATION
The Elite back fits onto 22mm or 26mm diameter backrest canes, using "Easy Set" hardware. Inserts available for 19mm back canes. The bracket on the Elite back, allows for attachment to wheelchairs that maybe 26mm wider than the width of the backrest. Adjustments on the brackets can allow for variation of depth, recline (up to 30 degrees) with some rotation. Adjustments can be made with the user seated in the wheelchair.

Options

- Pelvic or thoracic lateral supports that are formable, with width / angle adjustment, to provide additional pelvic or thoracic support.
- Offset lateral, designed to provide a support position 80mm higher or lower than the mounting slots.
- Headrest adapter, to allow a headrest to be mounted directly onto the MaTRx Elite back. Available in three sizes.
- Visco foam upgrade of the backrest, is made up of a laminate of a 13mm layer of high resilient foam and a 16mm layer of Visco foam.
- Foam-in-place kit, enables an individually moulded foam backrest to be fabricated, with the user seated in the wheelchair.
- A high stretch cover.
- Fixed non-removable mounting hardware, can be used when the width between wheelchair canes is limited.
- Cane replacement, replaces existing back canes which are less than 26mm diameter for use with any MaTRx back.
- Extended shear reduction mounting hardware (ESR) enables the MaTRx PB back to be directly mounted to the wheelchair canes.

Cleaning Requirements

The cover can be removed for cleaning. It can be wiped over with a damp cloth. Refer to product manual for further instructions.
