Lever design
Lever is narrow at body end and widens out at holding end.
Method of use
The lever handle is turned to the left or right for hot or cold water.
Up or down for on or off.
Full flow of water from off to fully on is achieved in a 90 degrees turn of the lever.
·Maximum temperature can be preset after the mixing valve has been installed.
This effectively means that the maximum temperature can be lowered, so that if the lever is accidentally knocked the operator will not be scalded.
Factors to Consider
Lever design and quarter turn action of taps enables those with poor hand function to use taps more effectively.
