A range of electric cooktops incorporating a neoceramic surface that remains relatively cool during use. The cooktop surfaces creates a magnetic field and when a magnetic object, such as a pan, is placed within its field it creates heat inside the pan. Incorporates touchpad controls and several safety features, such as an alarm to alert user that it has been left on.

Features
The Induction Cooktop cooks by converting electricity into a magnetic field via a series of induction coils beneath its surface. When another magnetic object, such as a pot, is placed within this field it creates heat inside the pan. The pan itself emits heat so that the cooktop surface remains cool. However some heat may be conducted from the pan to the surface.
Neoceramic material is a zero expansion glass ceramic that can be wiped clean with a damp soft cloth and mild detergent (harsh cleaners and abrasive substances and cloths may dull the polished surface).
The electronic touch pad controls have eight power/temperature settings for each of the four induction coils.
Functions include timer cooking and display window for time set and fault messages.
Users with cardiac pacemakers should not use this appliance as it may interfere with the pacemaker function at close range.

Safety Features
Oven temperature checking device
The cooktop continuously measures the temperature of the neoceramic glass surface and internal components for temperatures greater than the set protection levels. Shuts off automatically until the unit has cooled sufficiently to be re used.
Pan checking device
If there is no cooking utensil or an unsuitable type of cooking utensil on the coil after it is turned on, an audible signal and flashing lights is activated to alert the user . If not rectified within three minutes, it will automatically switch off.
Detection of small objects
If small objects, such as a spoon are accidentally left on a coil whilst still in operation a signal will sound and the coil will not operate. The cooktop will automatically switch off after three minutes of the signal sounding.
