A lift for straight and curved staircases, which ascends most stairways to the height of 3 standard storeys (4 standard floors). The platform runs on 2 parallel tubes mounted directly onto walls of concrete and other strong materials. Towers are supplied for open plan stairways or where walls are of weak construction. The platform is powered to fold for storage and can be used for indoor and outdoor applications.

Two 50mm O.D. mild steel tubes spaced approximately 600mm apart vertically
The lower tube is approx 400mm above stairs, varying with slope of stairway
Approximately 130mm projection from attachment wall
Motor
1 horsepower at 1725 rpm. 208/220/240v, single or three phase
Incorporates solenoid disc brake
Gearbox has sealed lubrication. 1:100 reduction. Self-sustaining worm drive
Motor driven via toothed belt at approximately 1:2 reduction
Drive box is located at top of system 1000mm high x 585mm wide x 290mm deep
Hand crank provided for operation during power failure
Arrestor is located at bottom of system. Mechanical over speed sensor and lock with electrical drive protection
Wire rope has 7mm galvanized steel coreOperating controls
All operating controls are 24v
Operation
Performed by passenger or by attendant using the plug in remote control extension supplied
Stairway clearance
Straight stairways require a minimum width of 1300mm, with turning sections approx. 1500mm
Finish
Four standard colours are available
The finish is a special two component urethane
Custom colours available at extra cost- Maintenance
