The RMC tempering valves are designed to protect against scalding by ensuring a preset maximum water temperature. The tempering valve must be installed by a licensed plumber and can serve one or a number of water outlets, such as a whole bathroom or an entire household. RMC safety valves are also available for use in basin, baths or showers to shut down water supply in the event of cold water supply failure.

Features
RMC tempering valves can be used with mains pressure or gravity fed hot water services.
A high performance model ensures a water temperature variation of less than one degree Celsius.
The standard model (Heatguard model) allows the water temperature to fluctuate up to five degrees Celsius.
Temperature is set during installation but can be adjusted using an allen key.
The unit is suitable for vented and unvented systems.
Valves are available in 15mm and 20mm diameters.
Pressure ranges from 30kpa to 1000kpa (dynamic). It is recommended that hot and cold water supplies are balanced for optimum valve performance, however supplies may be unbalanced to a maximum cold : hot dynamic ratio of 10 : 1.
