A single motor electrically operated lift and recline chair with an elevating footrest and stand up function. The frame is made from steel and wood. It has a fully padded and upholstered seat and backrest. The chair is available in a range of fabrics. One model only, available in three sizes.

Controls
Dual switch for lift and recline functions with extendable cord which can be placed in a small pocket on either side of the chair or fitted into the armrest of the chair. The standing function is a combination of lifting up and tilting forward.
Power
The supply voltage to the motor is 240 volts. A transformer external to the motor reduces the voltage of the motor to 24 volts and the hand control to 12 volts.
Safety and Maintenance

Battery backup is available when fitted with two nine volt batteries. In the event of a power failure the batteries will return the chair to the sitting position.
If the battery backup capability is used, the batteries must be replaced, as the batteries will only power one operation.
To ensure adequate charge, it is suggested that the batteries be replaced once a year, even if not used.
