A German made battery operated, portable, folding bath hoist which lowers and raises a person in a seated position into the bath with a stainless steel scissor lift mechanism. A hand held press button control operates the lift and the backrest recline is operated to four positions. The bath hoist is suitable for domestic use and is covered in an anti slip material that is removable and machine washable. The lifter has a folding structure for storage.
