The bath support is constructed from plastic tubing (PVC frame) and stainless steel fittings. The seat is slung blue double mesh upholstery and is padded at the front of the seat. There are two webbing safety straps with clip in fasteners. The seat and back angles are fixed, but the whole support can be tilted in space from 30 to 70 degrees. It adjusts and locks into the desired position through a quick release pin system. Slip resistant stoppers are present on all legs of the support.

Optional extension legs are available which raise the support frame 230mm to a position level with the top of the bath. Supplier states that two sets of extension legs can be used for further increased height. Individual lockable castors are also optional and are compatible with the bath support and extension legs. A padded, height adjustable head and neck support is also available. Three sizes are available: small, medium and large.
