The Maxifloat Rx is a two layer foam mattress replacement which has a contour cut top layer and a firmer bottom layer that provides support. Suitable for individuals at low to medium risk of developing pressure sores. Available in single size as standard.

STRUCTURE: The mattress consists of two layers:
1) Inner Foam Core: consists of medium density foam and five contour cut zones. The zones change with regard to the anatomical form of a human being. This layer provides an increased surface area and more foam under the torso, and the opposite in the head and foot sections.
2) Bottom Layer: consists of firm high density foam. This layer provides support.ATTACHMENT: Mattress is placed directly on bed base. No specific attachment method is required.
COVER: The cover consists of two parts:
1) Top cover: made of Hypolex, offers low vapour transmission. It is stain resistant, flame retardant, anti-microbial and provides low shear.
2) Bottom cover: made of gray ripstop vinyl, is waterproof and antibacterial. It also contains air vents allowing the patient to descend into the mattress.PEOPLE USEFUL FOR: People at low to medium risk of developing pressure sores.
CUSTOMISED FEATURES: custom sizes available on request.
CLEANING: Easy to clean, just wipe over with a damp cloth and/or detergent or disinfectant.
MAINTENANCE: The mattress can be rotated head to foot, to increase longevity and enhance clinical efficacy.
