A mild contour cushion just over 50mm thick, made from a combination material of rubber and plastic arranged in a honeycomb configuration to absorb shape, reduce shear and improve ventilation. Available in 9 standard sizes ordered with either a slung base shape or flat base, plus several non-standard sizes. Supplied with a moisture resistant cover with slip resistant base and valuables pocket at the front of the base. CONSTRUCTION: It is constructed from several density layers of Stimulite honeycomb material to assist in conforming to the user`s body shape. The honeycomb material also reduces shear and improves ventilation by allowing moisture to vent out though the base of the cushion.
FEATURES: Cushions are machine washable and dryer safe. Supplied with a netting bag for washing.
COVER: Moisture resistant material with multi-directional stretch properties to minimise wrinkles. Zip pocket at front base of cover for storage of valuables.
OPTIONS: Choice of slung base or flat base in all cushion sizes. Non-standard sizes from 360mm (14") to 460mm (18"), and 480mm (19") to 510mm (20"), plus oversize cushions and special cuts on request.
APPLICATION: The supplier states that the cushion is appropriate for a person at high risk of developing pressure areas esp more active wheelchair users.
WARRANTY: Cushions 1-3 years depending on product, 90 days on cover.
