A foam pressure reduction mattress replacement designed to meet the needs of heavy clients. It incorporates four layers of foam with progressive densities and pressure reducing features. The mattress is available in three sizes. Each size is available in two models which vary in their load capacity. Supplier states this mattress suitable for a person who is at medium risk of developing a pressure area.

STRUCTURE: Consists of 4 layers of foam with progressive densities and pressure reducing properties. The top later is contoured viscoelastic foam for support and comfort. There is more foam beneath the heavier parts of the body. The second layer is a higher density foam. The third layer is a more substantial layer of foam to prevent bottoming out. The fourth layer of foam provides a sturdy foundation to the mattress. Two of the layers of foam are contour cut.
ATTACHMENT: Mattress is placed on bed base. No specific attachment required.
COVER: Loose top cover to prevent hammocking effect. Top cover is made of nylon, flame retardant, anti microbial and water resistant. Coated with teflon surfacing for protection against abrasions and cleaning products. The bottom cover is bright yellow vinyl for ease of identification. It is water resistant and anti bacterial. It also has an anti microbial material flap inside the zipper to prevent liquids contacting the mattress. Four reinforced handles for mattress portability.
APPLICATION: The supplier states that the mattress is appropriate for a person at medium risk of developing pressure areas
CLEANING: cover can be removed for laundering according to manufacturers instructions. Can also be wiped down with non bleach based cleaning agents.
