An overhead fixed track powered hoist with spreader bar attachment that may be used to lift and transfer people from the floor, or in a seated or lying position. Suitable for institutional or domestic use. Available in mains or battery powered models with manual or powered traverse. A portable and heavy duty model is available. Three choices of lifting capacity are available.

SUGARGLIDER NOMAD
CONTROLS: Handheld push button control. Ergonomic design.
TRACKING: Multiple track locations in a single dwelling e.g. bedroom, bathroom, lounge. Can be used on freestanding portable gantry.
SPREADER BAR: Curved design for extra head room. 4 point suspension integrated into the lifting motor.
POWER & CHARGING: Battery powered. Charging can be done through hand control. High battery performance with 70 + lifts per charge capacity.
GENERAL FEATURES: Lift speed 35mm/s with soft stop/start function to prevent abrupt movements. Splash proof casing.
SAFETY FEATURES: Equipped with emergency lowering and stop, secured against overloading, a counter registers number of lifts. Light and sound signal indicate when hoist needs to be recharged. There is also a light to indicate when the hoist requires a service.
SUGARGLIDER SG
TRACKING: The tracks are fully customised and can be mounted within a room or throughout a house. A single track is mounted on the ceiling, constructed from extruded aluminium, with a white coating. The track can be installed in straight, intersecting, and curved lengths [XY].
CONTROLS: Hand held on an extendable cord and attached to the hoist unit. They can be used by attendant or occupant.
POWER: 2 x 12v batteries which are sealed, maintenance free and concealed within the hoist unit.
BATTERIES: Battery Recharging
The hoist is returned to the end of the tracking for charging. Charging is fully automatic via 240 volt mains power. A green indicator light on the hoist unit indicates when batteries are charging.
