The AutoMini is a simple, portable loop amplifier system used in conjunction with a chair pad. The sound is transmitted via this chair pad with an in-built loop antenna. It is suitable for users with a hearing instrument that are equipped with a telecoil. It is designed to enhance the quality of television sound, without disturbing background noise.

Method of Use
Connect the AutoMini between the television and the chair loop. The AutoMini can detect the sound from the television via three methods:
1. Television line- out socket.
2. Television SCART socket.
3. Microphone connected to the television loudspeaker.
. Place the chair loop under the seat [the supplier stated some users may need to place the chair loop over the backrest depending on the type of hearing instrument and hearing loss].
. The television sound is than transmitted directly from the chair loop to the user`s hearing instrument via the telecoil [hearing instrument is either in the T or M/T position].

FEATURES: The AutoMini has volume control [AGC] that automatically detects when the user switches between sources such as a DVD player and video recorder, thus keeping the sound at a constant level even if the volume is changed on the television.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: The manufacturer states that this device has a frequency range of 100 Hz - 8kHz, -3 dB rel. 1kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of >40dB. However, please note is important to consult an audiologist in regards to the appropriateness, installation, and safe use of the device.
CLEANING: The chair pad is enclosed in a zippered, washable cover for easy cleaning.
