General Details

Extra product information

Safety Indicator: The indicator will change for "red" to "green" when you have a good suction seal. If the indicator does not change, the grab bar needs to be repositioned.
Grip: The raised texture bumps on the rail will give you a better grip, even with soapy hands. The undersides of the rails also have a textured grip.
Materials: Constructed of engineering grade polymer resin and non-marring suction cups.
Positioning: Handle can be fixed in any position and angle. The rails should not be used externally or in direct sunlight.
Suitable surfaces: The rail can be used on any smooth, non porous, dry surface such as tile, fibreglass, glass, porcelain and some plastics. It is not for use on painted, papered, wood or embossed surfaces. It cannot be installed on moving surfaces. It cannot be placed over grout lines! 100% of the suction pad must be on the tile.
Easily transportable - can fit into a suitcase for travelling

Installation

Installation:
Ensure the suction latches are up.
Position the handle in the desired location
Ensure the surface is suitable and suction cups are not on any tile grouting.
Apply pressure to the handle while pushing the latches down
Apply force to check the handle is securely attached.
Check the indicator lights to make sure that they have changed from red to green

Caution - Suction Grab Rails

. The rails are not designed to support full body weight
. Always check the rail is secure before use
. Do not attach to moving surfaces
. The device should be used only for short term periods. With prolonged usage periods, check for firm holding of the suction device. The rail should be re-attached if suction begins to fail
. The suction device will only adhere as well as the base layer itself. Before using the device check the adhesive properties of the substratum (eg the tile on the wall, plaster)
. High climatic temperature (ie above 30 degrees celsius) will reduce the tensile force
. Use under water reduces adhesive power
. Never use a rail with damaged suction discs as the suction will not hold.
. The device should only be used on a smooth, non-porous surface that is steam tight, clean, dry and free of dust, oils and greases
. The suction discs must not be positioned over grout lines
. The suction devices themselves must be kept clean, dry and free of oils and grease
. Do not release the device with sharp instruments, as this may damage the suction discs
. This rail is not designed to support the whole body weight
. Check users' manual for further information
