The taps operating mechanism is a push down button located on top of the tap head. Its design makes it tamper resistant.
The tap is usually installed on a basin due to its design and primary function. It is well suited to washroom applications.
Operation is by way of pressing down on button located on top of the tap head. The water flow will be determined by the flow setting previously selected.
The tap comes in one finish: chrome plated brass with a coloured indicator button.

Installation

Installation by a licensed plumber is recommended. In public buildings, taps should be installed by a licensed plumber to comply with AS 1428.1 (2001) to meet disability access standards.

Method of Use

The tap is activated when the button on the tap head is pressed down, allowing the water to flow. The tap will operate for as long as the timed water flow has been set - between five to thirty seconds in duration. After this time, the tap will automatically stop and can only be re-activated if the button is pressed down again.
