The rails are straight or angled. They are fitted using flanges which are either concealed or exposed and are available with either 1, 2 or 3 holes, depending on the model chosen.
The rails come in a variety of finishes, including chrome plated brass, firm grip, polished brass, stainless steel and epoxy coated almond ivory or white.
Firm grip rails may be suitable for soapy areas.
Options
Shower seats
Non return valves: protect main water supply where there is a chance of back-flow contaminating the water system.
Hand held showers
Sliding shower rail clamp: ABS shower clamp or a Stainless Steel version
Switchcock valves, three styles to suit different situations
Shower curtain tracks. For constant and heavy use, 38mm tracks. For normal household use, it is recommended that a smaller 25mm track be used. Shower curtain tracks can be made to accommodate custom sizes.
Polyester shower curtains are weighted and come in varying lengths and widths to suit most applications. These are hospital grade curtains which will endure years of regular use and can be very quickly taken down and washed.
Aluminum threshold wedges. Come in several heights and can be cut to size to accommodate different door widths.
Installation
When installing rails, it is important to ensure that the fixtures are designed to withstand the forces applied to them, and that the screws or bolts used will not rust or otherwise deteriorate.
