A yellow, plastic (polycarbonate) ruler with raised measurement markings each 5mm and 50mm. Each 10mm on the ruler alternates in colour - yellow and black for visual recognition. Designed to assist people with visual impairment.

The ruler has two different edges, a straight edge and a notched edge. The straight edge is used for drawing and measuring.
The notched edge assists orientation, plus when used with a pen, may assist a person who experiences difficulty with coordination.
Has slip resistant pads on the underside.
The type is Helvetica Bold 14 point.
