- Extra product information
The action of these chair is a wallsaver action. The seat moves forward on its base as it reclines. Releasing the switches will automatically stop the chair at any position.
The reclining and standing mechanism is operated by a push button hand control on an extendable cord which can be mounted on the left or right hand side of the chair. The controls have push buttons marked with up and down arrows. When moved into the reclining position, the legrest raises to support the legs as the chair base moves forward.
The chair is available with side pockets if required.
The optional battery back up unit activates automatically and allows one movement only after power failure.
The chair comes in a range of fabrics and can be customised. The backrest cushioning is filled with fibre, and the seat base consists of enduro foam with a layer of memory foam on top.
FRAME consists of steel and wooden frame.
SEAT has high density foam padding.
BACKREST consists of either two or three padded sections depending on the model (see models for details). Each section of the backrest has a zipper at the back allowing access to the fibre for customisation of contouring if required.
ARMRESTS are padded and upholstered.
LEGREST is incorporated in the chair, with a chaise, and extends from the edge of the seat when in the raised position. The legrest elevates to a position slightly higher than the level of the seat.
MOTOR The single motor on this chair allows the seat to move forward as it reclines thus reducing the need for the chair to be placed far out from the wall. This incliner or "wall saver" model is suitable for living arrangements where limited space is a problem, such as in hostel rooms. A dual motor chair is optional to allow the backrest to be adjusted separately to the legrest.
UPHOLSTERY is available in a range of fabrics including fluid resistant Zircon.CUSTOMISATION The chair can be customised
CONTROLS are mounted in a small control box, which can be operated on the left or right hand side of the chair.
POWER is provided from mains power. The chair has battery back up if the power supply is cut off.
