A wall mounted, folding shower seat consisting of an antibacterial protective nylon frame with a non-corrosive steel core, and seat bands made of nylon. Available in two sizes. The shower seat has cover caps for concealed fixing and steel reinforced hinges with a limiting device to allow the seat to be lowered gently into position. There is an automatic built-in stop in the lift-up position. The seat requires 80mm of space from the wall in the vertical position.

The seat consists of bands made of nylon with intermediate rings. The shower seat has cover caps for concealed fixing and steel reinforced hinges with a limiting device to allow the seat to be lowered gently into position. There is an automatic built-in stop in the lift-up position. The seat requires 80mm of space from the wall in the vertical position.
The frame is made of 34 mm diameter nylon with a non-corrosive steel core and has rounded edges. The seat has a steel reinforced folding mechanism.
The seat is available in primary red, green and yellow as well as white, greys, dark red and shades of blue

Normbau Microban antibacterial protection can be incorporated into the polymer structure of the nylon during the production process. The agent remains continually active to secure that the antibacterial effect remains for many years. With the agent distributed throughout the nylon there is no regeneration of the destroyed cell mass and the pathogenic germs are destroyed.

Must be installed by a qualified tradesperson. The seat must be secured appropriately to masonry, concrete or wall studs.

In any building which the Building Code of Australia requires compliance with AS1428.1, the fastenings, materials and construction of the seat must be able to withstand a force of 1100 N to comply with AS1428.1. The seat must be installed 470-480 mm above floor level
In a private residence the seat can be installed at a height to suit the individual requirements of the user.
