The Ridgy Didge is a handmade, lightweight, custom designed, rigid wheelchair available in chrome moly or titanium frame. It is suitable for children or adults. It has a minimal frame design, with the option of a range of rear and front seat heights, and centre of gravity adjustability. This is a scripted and customised chair.

Frame
The standard frame is constructed of chrome moly with the option of upgrading to a titanium frame. It features a minimal style frame and a non -folding fixed or adjustable size backrest. The wheel and castor positions are adjustable or can be fixed. The centre of gravity is adjustable when adjustable castors and axle plate position is selected or is fixed and can not be altered when the fixed rear wheel and castor position is selected. An adjustable clamp on rear wheel position is also available. The rear frame can be either square or rounded, however if swing away armrests and ant-tip bars are required, the square rear frame style must be selected. Available in a range of specialist frame colours and finishes.Seat
The wheelchair features a slung style seat with tension adjustable seat which is achieved by adjusting the webbing hook and loop tape straps. The front seat width can be tapered if required. The seat width, depth, front of seat height, rear seat height and are fully customisable (scripted).Side Guards
Side guard options include non-removable aluminium, welded titanium (only available with titanium frame and fixed backrest), welded chrome moly (only available with chrome moly frame and fixed backrest), lift out removable plastic side guards, lift out removable aluminium side guards. Side guard strengtheners are available and are a no-charge option with the welded titanium or welded chrome moly side guard options. The height of the side guards can be specified as 25mm below the tyre, level with the tyre or 25mm above the tyre. Can be customised.Upholstery
The standard chair is fitted with padded backrest upholstery, hook and loop tape adjustable backrest. Upholstery options include a strap adjustable seat, strap adjustable backrest, and a 50mm medium density foam cushion.Backrest
The standard backrest is fixed non-folding style. There are option for slung style tension adjustable backrest which can be adjusted by repositioning the hook and loop tape straps, beneath the webbing that can be altered by removing the backrest upholstery. The backrest angle and height can be customised. Backrest options include folding quick release backrest, folding backrest with jointed independent back locks, adjustable height backrest, screw in push handles or stroller style push handles.Armrests
Armrests are not standard on the wheelchair. Options available are: swing away tubular style or height adjustable style with integral side guard. The height of the swing away tubular arm rests can be customised.
Legrests
The standard chair is fitted with height adjustable legrests. Additional optons include legrest impact guards or calf strap mounting loops.Footplates
The standard footplate is a tubular style. Available options include plastic a plastic footrest cover, angle adjustable footrest, fixed footrest integrated into the frame, a titanium footrest of non-standard footrest. The footplate width can be customised depending upon the seat width and the front end style selected. Can be height adjusted.Wheels
Quick release spoke rear wheels are available in 22", 24" 25" 26" or 27" sizes as standard. Optional Spinergy wheels can be fitted to the chair in 24", 25", 26" or 27" sizes and with black, red, blue, white or yellow spokes. Tyre options include block tread tyres, high pressure tyres, Schwalbe Marathon Plus puncture resistant tyres or solid tyres.Camber
The wheel camber can be customised and the centre of gravity is adjustable. A fixed centre of gravity option is available. The rear wheel gap between the wheel and back posts can be customised.Brakes
There is a choice of brakes including scissor, push to lock brakes, under seat brakes or no brakes.Push rims
Pushrims are available in hardened anodised aluminium, plastic coated or stainless steel, and can be wide or narrow set.Castors
There is a choice of castor sizes available including Krypto (roller blade style rubber) castors, soft roll rubber castors or flashing LED castors.
The width of the castor pin can be set to suit various sized customised castor forks as per the user requirements. The castor fork height and style can be customised.- Options
