A range of portable care sensors designed to monitor a persons activity. The range includes sensors for the bed, chair, door and floor. The sensors can be set up to trigger the alarm when a person moves, stands up or leaves a room. The range is suitable for domestic and healthcare facilities. The care sensor systems come with a mounting bracket, a controller and the bed sensor. The systems can be arranged to operate in isolation, or with an existing nurse call facility.
Controls:
These include a front panel and remote connection, on-off switches, a rotary control to adjust the required alarm delay interval, and a local audible alarm volume control. It also includes a relay output for other requirements such as a wireless transmitter.

Maintenance
The SafeBed doesn't have any embedded wires, pressure pads or moving parts and the supplier states the products usually lasts five to six years. The supplier also states that the sensor can be used on electric beds.
