A lightweight, plastic tube frame with soft net upholstery, designed to support an individual in a reclined position within the bath.
General Details
- Extra product information
The bathing aid allows an attendant to place the person in three different positions in the bath: fully reclined to semi upright.
'U' shaped bars are fixed underneath at the head and pelvis level to allow the bathing aid to be placed in the bath so that the person's torso and arms are immersed with the legs raised.
By using the hand grips at the head of the bathing aid, the attendant can pull it upwards so that the upper part of the body is out of the water and the lower half and legs are immersed.
Although the device is designed to enable the person to be manually lifted out of the bath whilst still on the frame, this may place the attendants at risk. Alternate manual handling methods should be considered.- Manufacturer/Country
