The sponge has a scouring surface on the underside and a connecting plate on the upper. A clear plastic handle connects to the plate. The handle is hollow and can be filled with a liquid detergent through a screw cap at the end of the handle. The detergent feeds through to the sponge via a small aperture in the section of the handle that links with the connecting plate. A hole in the connecting plate allows the liquid to seep in to the sponge. The handle has a flat upper surface for the thumb and ridges on the rest of the curved surface to assist grip.Replacement heads can be purchased in packs of two.

- Method of Use
1. Unscrew the cap and fill the handle with a liquid detergent.
2. When not in use store the dishwasher on its back, sponge facing upward, or hang inside the sink from the bottom edge of the sponge.
