The Tech/Talk is a voice-output communication device with eight message cells. The device uses digitised (human recorded) speech output. The Tech/Talk is accessed directly through the membrane-type keyboard. Switch access is available as a customised option. Other customised options are available.

The Tech/Talk is made with a shatterproof high impact ABS injection molded case, so it is designed to be drop resistant. The membrane panel is also water resistant and operates with a light-touch.
