Maintenance

If the sheet has less slip than normal, the inside surfaces can be sprayed with a silicone spray (Helmar H 4000).

Caution

It is recommended that prior to using this product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.

SAFETY
When getting in or out of bed, or while turning in bed, ensure the user does not manoeuvre too close to the edge of the bed, as they may slip off the bed.
As the sheet is designed to be left under the user whilst sleeping, and the fabric does not stretch, it may not suit users who are at risk of skin breakdown.

Can be used on a single or double bed. One size only.
The sheet is laid on the bed with the foam pad face down and with the sheet spread out either side of the foam section. Position the sheet with the top part just under the pillow to ensure it is under the user`s shoulders. The bottom part will then be under the user`s thighs.
Can be customised.

Method of Use

To Turn in Bed:
The user can turn in bed, with the Turn Yourself Sheet reducing the normal friction under the body. The surplus material that is on either side of the foam pad will slide under the user as they turn, leaving a little material in front on them, but with surplus material behind them. When they turn again, onto either their back or other side, the surplus material that was behind them will pass under the user during the turn.

To Transfer Into Bed:
Twist the sheet (top section) around to sit on. Sit on the sheet and, as the user turns and lifts the legs onto the bed, the sheet will turn at the same time, so that it will be straight again.

Cleaning Requirements

Hand or machine wash up to 80 degrees. Do not use fabric conditioner. Air dry or cool tumble dry but never place in hot drum.
