The stove stopper kit is designed to turn off any gas stove after a timer has expired. The kit is suitable to any person who may not be in a position to reliably turn their gas stove off after use. The kit consists of a gas valve and a timer switch.
When the switch is pressed the gas valve allows gas to flow. The timer only allows gas to flow for a set length of time, a standard 10 minutes, once the time is expired the gas valve closes. The stove is forced to turn off.
Required to be installed by a electrician who can modify the timer to any specified range.
Options
An emergency lock system can be used with the Stove Stopper Kit. This enables the gas flow to be cut off by activating a button and a key is required to unlock the gas flow.
