- Extra product information
The PAL does not require mounting to the pool deck or access to water or electricity supply except when recharging. This mobility allows the hoist to be positioned anywhere around the pool and then put away when not in use. The mobility of the PAL means the one hoist can be used in multi-pool facilities.
The base of each PAL must be measured and customised to fit the pool/s where it will be used prior to purchase.
The hoist is constructed of corrosion resistant materials which are powder coated aluminium and stainless steel. The hoist consists of a mast , boom and wheeled support base. The boom has a plastic seat attached. The seat has drainage holes in the seat base and backrest, and swing away arms to allow a side transfer. The hoist raises and lowers via battery operation. A hand held control is used to lift and lower the boom. The hoist is rotated through 240 degrees, by pushing on the button on the water proof control unit attached to a cord. The hand control is submersible so can be left connected while the user is swimming. The control unit can be attendant or user operated. The PAL hoist is suitable for use with a below ground pool. Other models cater for above ground pools.
There is a 24 volt battery built in which is re-chargable. The battery is located in the base of the PAL and is removed to a wall mounted charger when required. The green light on the battery indicates a connection to a power source. The orange light on the battery indicates the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged the orange light goes off.
