General Details

- Extra product information
The SPLASH requires an anchor sleeve near the pool edge. The base slides into an anchor sleeve which is installed in the pool deck. The anchor sleeve should be totally encapsulated in concrete. The optimal mounting distance from the edge of the pool for the anchor sleeve is 460mm. The hole should be 180mm deep and 130mm wide.
It does not require access to water or electricity supply except when recharging. The hoist can be positioned anywhere around the pool where there is an anchor sleeve and then put away when not in use.
There is a caddie which is used to transport the hoist when moving to another location or storage.
The hoist is constructed of corrosion resistant materials which are powder coated aluminium and stainless steel. The hoist consists of a mast , boom and portable deck mounted base. The boom has a plastic seat attached. The seat has drainage holes in the seat base and backrest, and swing away arms to allow a side transfer.
The hoist raises and lowers via battery operation. A hand held control is used to lift and lower the boom. The hoist is rotated through 359 degrees, by pushing on the button on the water proof hand control unit attached to a cord. The hand control is submersible so can be left connected while the user is swimming. The control unit can be attendant or user operated. The SPLASH hoist is suitable for use with a below ground pool. Other models cater for above ground pools.
There is a 24 volt battery built in which is re-chargable. The battery is located on the mast of the SPLASH and is removed to a wall mounted charger when required. The green light on the battery indicates a connection to a power source. The orange light on the battery indicates the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged the orange light goes off.
