The Logan ProxTalker is a static display device that uses removable RFID Sound Tags. Each Sound Tag is encoded with unique identification code for the device to identify the tag and its associated word. When a Sound Tag is place on a cell and pressed, the ProxTalker detects the tag and speaks the word/message associated with it. Messages are stored with digitised speech. The device is also designed to be shock and water resistant.

Method of Use
The device is designed to resemble sentence strips used in Picture Exchange Communication System with 5 cells available to user to attach Sound Tags onto. Each Sound Tag supplied by the device is encoded with unique Radio Frequency identification code for the device to identify the tag and its associated word / phrase. When a Sound Tag is place on a cell and pressed, the ProxTalker detects the tag and speaks the word/message associated with the it.
Please note that this device is designed for direct access only and may not be suitable for users who require indirect access to SGDs.
