1300 885 886 Independent Living Centres Advisory Service

A monitored cellular personal emergency response system with panic alert, GPS locator and fall detector built in. The watch is also a mobile phone and can be programmed to contact the Tunstall 24 hour response centre when the alert button is pushed on the side of the watch allowing two way voice communication with a trained operator. The operator can then determine the location of the watch and direct responders to the user's location. Each watch is supplied with a pre-configured SIM card and will operate where there is mobile network coverage. The Supplier states the watch is water resistant and can be worn in the rain and shower. The watch can also be set up as a non-monitored emergency call system. A lockable strap is available on the device, which requires a specific key for a carer to unlock to allow for the device to be charged.

It is important to be aware that 000 calls from automated devices (such as emergency call systems) cannot be guaranteed a response from the emergency services if they are unable to validate the condition, address and required response. It is therefore not recommended to program 000 into a non-monitored emergency call system (or autodialling system).

It features several alerts such as leaving a predefined zone and arrival at a pre-arranged destination. It also features GPS and Wi-Fi tracking and map location and street address available on the activation of an alert. It is water resistant, automatic alert activation on detection of falls and watch removal and auto presence alerting system to check watch is in range and working.
