This grab rail suctions onto a non porous surface and can be removed for relocation.
General Details
- Caution - Suction Grab Rails
. The rails are not designed to support full body weight
. Always check the rail is secure before use
. Do not attach to moving surfaces
. The device should be used only for short term periods. With prolonged usage periods, check for firm holding of the suction device. The rail should be re-attached if suction begins to fail
. The suction device will only adhere as well as the base layer itself. Before using the device check the adhesive properties of the substratum (eg the tile on the wall, plaster)
. High climatic temperature (ie above 30 degrees celsius) will reduce the tensile force
. Use under water reduces adhesive power
. Never use a rail with damaged suction discs as the suction will not hold.
. The device should only be used on a smooth, non-porous surface that is steam tight, clean, dry and free of dust, oils and greases
. The suction discs must not be positioned over grout lines
. The suction devices themselves must be kept clean, dry and free of oils and grease
. Do not release the device with sharp instruments, as this may damage the suction discs
. This rail is not designed to support the whole body weight
