A range of tanium (plastic) banister and grab rails are available in a range of sizes and angles. Rails may be cut to length required.
General Details
- Extra product information
The rails are suitable for use in corridors, stairways, showers and bathrooms. The plastic is inert and therefore will not retain heat or cold in temperature extremes.
The banister rails are attached to the wall with a bracket system. Banister rails are 42mm in diameter and are purchased in 1 metre lengths. Angled rails are available.
The grab rails attach to the walls using a flange system, which allows the rails to swivel to different angles. The diameter of the grab rails is 35mm and is available in 300mm, 450mm, 600mm and 900mm lengths.
- Installation
When installing rails, it is important to ensure that the fixtures are designed to withstand the forces applied to them, and that the screws or bolts used will not rust or otherwise deteriorate.
