A floor, bed or chair sensor kit comprising a sensor mat/pad and a sensor adapter lead set. The sensor mat can be placed placed on the floor beside the bed, in front of a chair, in a door way or on the mattress or chair. Standing on the sensor mat will trigger an alarm that alerts the nurse or carer. There are various options to connect the sensor mat to a nurse call system or to use a radio linked call buzzer, wireless transmitter/receiver or buzzer box.
