A learning infrared switch adapted controller for control of a television or other home appliances which use an infrared remote. Up to three commands can be programmed using three separate switches. For example, one switch can activate channel up on a tv remote, another switch can select channel down. The third switch can be used for power on/off. Switches are sold separately to the controller.
