A user-operated compact, stainless steel pool hoist that is powered by a rechargeable battery and actuator. It has a lift up seat with weight-bearing armrests and an optional footrest. A floating hand control moves the user from the deck into the pool and back again. The unit can be fixed permanently at the edge of the pool. It also has an optional transport trolley for easy removal. The lift is suitable for public pools and private homes.
