There are various plugs which when used in conjunction with the Insteon Hub can control the device plugged in using a smart phone or tablet. Alternatively you can use a wall switch, keypad or sensor (motion, leak, temperature) to turn a device on, off or brightness (between 1-100%) and dimming on or off speed. There is an outdoor model which is weather resistant. You can create schedules for your lights or appliances to turn on or off.
