The inTouch provides a software system with simplified interface and navigation for users of select tablets and televisions. The television software has a remote for control and the tablets are controlled by touch. The system has quick access to contacts (friends whom are other users of the same software, or companions who can use external text messaging, Skype calls, or email to communicate with the user). It also has quick access to two way messaging, notice board (where organisations can advertise events), photos (which can be shared by organizations or companions), video calls, planners (where organisations can add vocal and text alerts and reminders), forums (where users can communicate), and an activities tab (for external websites). Organisations can control the device using an online portal. Currently the device is only available through care provider organisations.
