The Flood Sensor detects moisture which could indicate a flood. It can be used in conjunction with a hub and then can alerts you via email or text message that a leak has been detected. so you can stop the leak before damage to your home occurs. You can manually link the sensor (or via software, use a macro) to control a whole-house shutoff valve so it can automatically turn off all water to your home.
