The KNFB Reader for iOS or Android is an optical character recognition application for iOS or Android devices. Using images of documents taken with the device's camera, the application analyses and translates the images to computer readable text input. The application also features computer synthesized speech that reads contents of the document aloud. At the same time, it can display the print on the phone's built-in screen and highlight each word as it is spoken. Recognized text may also be read using a connected Braille display. Additional information on supported Bluetooth Braille displays can be found on the Braille displays for iOS page on the Apple website.
