Crash Test Information for Wheeled mobility devices

If possible and feasible, the rider should transfer to a standard car seat or approved child seat and use the OEM vehicle restraint.

If this is not possible and the wheelchair has been fitted with an optional transit system, it may be used as a seat in a wheelchair vehicle if used in accordance with the instructions given in the user manual. This wheeled mobility device meets the design requirements and has been successfully crash tested in accordance with ANZS/ISO 7176-19:2008 MOD. This standard relates to the design requirements specified for a wheeled mobility device to be used to transport an individual in a motor vehicle.

This wheelchair has not been approved for the use of power assist devices such as powered wheels or other add-on motors.
