The Guardian Real time continuous glucose monitoring system provides 24 hour glucose monitoring. It is designed to provide constant awareness of your blood glucose levels to improve your diabetes management. The transmitter connects directly to the glucose sensor with is inserted through the skin usually in the stomach area. It sends data wirelessly to the monitor which can be attached to a belt or worn underneath clothing. It has a predictive and rate of change alerts to warn you of glucose changes before they become dangerous.
