Clicker 7 ANZ is a literacy support software for emergent readers and writers who would benefit from additional support. It can help children in planning and writing their ideas. The software includes text-to-speech, word prediction, and spelling support. It encourages independent writing by providing whole word writing, word banks, and picture support. It is compatible with multiple access methods.
General Details
Extra product information
* Clicker Boards allow children to brainstorm and organise their ideas using mind maps. Pictures and sounds may be added. Once a Clicker Board has been created, it can be instantly transformed into a word or picture bank that will sit at the bottom of the document as students write, providing instant point-and-click access to keywords, phrases and/or images. The bank will mimic the structure of your board, helping students to organise their paragraphs and transfer their ideas to the page in a logical order.
* Voice Notes can be directly recorded into the activity. Children can use them to rehearse sentences before writing, or to capture ideas on the fly. They are saved with the document.
* Word Pool allows you to add any word to Clicker's knowledge base and ensure it is pronounced properly by the speech engine, picked up by the predictor and accepted by the SpellChecker.
* SuperKeys is an on-screen keyboard with seven large keys to target instead of more than 30 small ones. Just tap the cluster containing the letter you want, and then tap the letter in the enlarged cluster to send it into your document.
