A mobile flotation seating system for high dependency clients. It has a manoeuvrable transit base which is usable both indoors and outdoors. There are both tilt in space and reclining mechanisms,gas assisted . When the chair is fully reclined and the legrest is fully raised it allows the user to be in a horizontal position. Two position swing away head wings and two position fold down armrests increase access to the user and facilitates side transfers.
