A clamp which can be used on a table or bench to stabilise jars or tins whilst they are opened. It consists of a wooden base with a lip to overhang the edge of a table or bench, a V-shaped wall at one end lined with foam and a wooden ram. The ram has a broad handle. With the clamp holding the jar, one or both hands can be used to open the lid. Suitable for one handed use or by those with limited strength or grasp.
