An adapted four-wheeled walking frame to use on a bowling green with wider wheels. It has height adjustable extension legs/handle bars. The folding feature allows for easier transportation and storage.

General Details

Folding Mechanism

Modifications suit standard 4 wheel walkers that fold by pulling a bar in the centre of the frame (usually under the seat). Front closes towards rear of frame.

Walking frame brakes

Push down brakes - activate by pushing down on the handles.
Hand-brakes - lock into position prior to seating by pushing down on the brake until a "click" is heard / felt and the rear wheel is locked.
Note: brakes only apply to the front wheels. There may remain some movement of the frame, particularly on slippery or uneven floor surfaces.

Height adjustment mechanism

Most standard 4 wheel walkers adjust using a screw to change height of the handles. Ensure hexagon nut is squarely in the hole when tightening for a firm fit.
